Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Spa Receptionist at Edgewood Tahoe Resort, you will be the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, embodying warmth, elegance, and impeccable service. You will ensure a seamless and exceptional spa experience from the moment of arrival to departure, in alignment with Forbes Five-Star standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all spa guests with a gracious, welcoming demeanor, adhering to luxury hospitality standards. Maintain detailed knowledge of spa treatments, therapists, promotions, and wellness programs to provide informed recommendations and upsell where appropriate. Coordinate all spa reservations via phone, email, and in-person with precision and discretion. Manage daily scheduling for spa therapists and ensure efficient appointment flow. Ensure the reception area, retail displays, and waiting lounges are impeccably maintained and presented at all times. Accurately process payments, reconcile daily transactions, and handle billing inquiries with confidentiality. Collaborate with therapists, Spa Attendants, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service. Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and discretion. Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information in accordance with resort and Forbes standards. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Minimum of 2 years in a luxury hospitality or spa environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in spa software systems and Microsoft Office. High attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Warm, professional, and polished presentation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
