Job Description

Quail Summit is a vibrant Senior Living community. Come join our team as a part-time evening and/or weekend Receptionist. Our Receptionist team represents Quail Summit in a positive, professional manner to families, residents, visitors and staff members. We currently have an opportunities for evening hours (4:30pm - 8:00pm) and weekend hours (Saturday 8am - 3pm) flexibility pick up additional hours on occasion.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an ambassador of good will to all who enter Quail Summit.
Greet visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Screen and require visitors to sign in at reception desk. Maintain sign in and sign out logs for residents and visitors. -Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Route calls and take accurate and detailed messages as appropriate. -Perform general office duties to include but not limited to: typing, preparing mailings and professional layout of flyers and notices as requested. Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail. Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint general knowledge preferred.
  • Monitor weather and contact maintenance or contractors as necessary for services.
  • Notify kitchen of guests for meals. Collect guest meal charge, as applicable.
  • Keep lobby area neat and notify maintenance of any necessary repairs.
  • Complete light housekeeping duties in the lobby area as assigned.
  • Must have knowledge of emergency procedures and be able to assist in the event of an emergency.
  • Assist departmental managers with special projects as requested.
  • Keep coffee/beverage area clean and stocked with fresh supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Pleasant, patient, and caring personality.
  • Excellent telephone skills with ability handle multiple phone lines.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse group of people and personalities.
  • Must show initiative and use good judgment.
  • Must present a professional appearance at all times.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Must be respectful of confidential information received and release such information only as authorized.
  • Be able and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
