Job Description

We are seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our CPA firm. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, handles confidential information with discretion, and enjoys keeping a busy office running smoothly. The receptionist will support clients and team members while providing dependable administrative assistance, especially during tax season. Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting clients warmly and notify team members of arrivals
  • Answer and route incoming calls
  • Manage appointments and calendars
  • Receive, sort, scan, and distribute mail, tax documents, and deliveries
  • Assist clients with document drop-off and pickup
  • Maintain a neat, welcoming reception area and monitor office supply inventory
  • Perform data entry, copying, scanning, filing, and basic document preparation
  • Support accountants and administrative staff with special projects and seasonal workload needs
  • Follow firm policies, professional standards, and privacy requirements when handling sensitive financial information Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or office administration experience preferred
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with office phone and scheduling systems preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment with sensitive client information
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility to work additional hours during peak tax season, as needed What We Offer

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
