Receptionist Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Rome, New York Dignity, Comfort, and Support We are seeking a warm and welcoming Receptionist to join our team at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a vintage eighty-bed ranch-style facility nestled in the heart of Central New York. Our picturesque surroundings and homelike atmosphere make us the perfect place for individuals to receive specialized care and support.
Job Summary:
As a Receptionist at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests, visitors, and community. Your warm and professional demeanor will set the tone for our guests' experience, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their stay.
Responsibilities:
Operate a console telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls, while greeting and receiving visitors and directing them as appropriate. Provide exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner, addressing questions and concerns of prospective or current residents and families. Manage the lobby area and graciously greet community visitors, providing support to the sales/marketing and business office teams. Represent the community to visitors and callers in a professional, pleasant, and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are directed to the appropriate person. Greet visitors at the community's front reception desk and maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
Experience with hospitality, seniors, healthcare, and service delivery. Customer Service/Hospitality background-emphasis highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
