Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service and clear communication about services offered Schedule appointments efficiently, managing the daily flow of grooming and reception activities Perform pet bathing, grooming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and animal handling with care and precision Safely restrain animals during grooming procedures using proper animal restraint techniques Assist with pet sitting, kennel management, and heavy lifting as needed to ensure pets are comfortable and secure Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas and reception spaces to uphold health and safety standards Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding pet care instructions, grooming needs, and any concerns that arise Skills Strong dog handling skills and animal care knowledge, including veterinary technician or assistant experience preferred Experience in pet grooming, pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal restraint techniques Background in veterinary experience or equine experience is a plus for understanding animal health needs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners of diverse backgrounds Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy pets or equipment Knowledge of kennel procedures, animal sitting, and general pet care practices Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners combined with strong organizational skills Join us in creating a positive environment where pets feel loved and owners feel confident!
