The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of medical office procedures, EMR systems, and healthcare documentation to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient satisfaction. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using EMR systems Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software Collect payments and perform medical collection activities as needed Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette Manage filing, faxing, and scanning of medical records and other administrative documents Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Excellent patient service skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to handle insurance verification processes accurately and efficiently Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse patient populations Previous clinic or medical office experience highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate patient care are valued.
