Scope of Responsibility The PBX Operator is also responsible for supplying information to callers and keeps a record if calls placed. Education High school diploma or equivalent Training and Experience Minimum 2 years of Administrative support or office management in health related field with patient interactions preferred Coordination of communication with medical staff and related departments preferred Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word experience required Computer proficiency preferred Excellent telephone etiquette preferred Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Knowledge of HIPPA regulations preferred Strong verbal and written communication skill Strong organization skill Strong multitasking skill in a fast paced setting Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check Lab Work Immunization Records Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day) Occasionally (½ to 2 ½ hour per day) Frequently (2 ½ to 5 ½ hours per day) Continually 5 ½ to 8 hours per day) Not Applicable Physical Sitting
