Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities Performs all layout for field supervision, topo's and as-builts Ensures all GPS, total Stations, and GPS machines are checked in on a regular basis (control points and calibration) Performs basic troubleshooting of GPS machinery Communicates with GPS Coordinator on any issues, problems, or scheduling needs Conveys GPS capabilities and limitations to project Superintendent or Foreman for layout expectations Reads and comprehends plans Other tasks as assigned Skills & Requirements High School diploma or GED is preferred. Five (5) years related experience is preferred Willingness and ability to travel to and from job sites. Ability to understand and operate GPS Rover is preferred Aptitude to follow verbal and written instruction. Concentration, alertness, and attention to detail. Ability to work with others and/or independently under minimal supervision. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Valid Driver's License is required. General computer operation is necessary.
