This is a hands-on dealership position responsible for vehicle title and registration processing, DMV-related work, payoff coordination, transport scheduling, payroll support, data entry, spreadsheets, and general dealership administration . The ideal candidate must have prior automotive dealership experience and hands-on experience with title work and DMV procedures . Experience with DealerCenter and Dealertrack is required. The candidate must be highly organized, accurate, comfortable working with spreadsheets, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Key Process vehicle titles, registrations, lien documentation, and other DMV-related paperwork accurately and efficiently. Handle Florida title work and DMV-related transactions , including title transfers, electronic titles, lien releases, tag/registration paperwork, and related documentation. Review vehicle and deal files to ensure all required documents are complete and properly processed. Handle and follow up on vehicle loan payoffs , payoff checks, lien information, and payoff documentation. Communicate with lenders, customers, tag agencies, auction representatives, and other parties regarding titles, registrations, and payoffs. Work daily in DealerCenter and Dealertrack to maintain accurate vehicle and deal information. Enter and maintain sales, title, registration, inventory, and administrative information in dealership systems. Assign and coordinate vehicle transport loads with transportation companies and drivers. Track vehicle pickups, deliveries, transportation status, and related paperwork. Create, maintain, and update Excel spreadsheets for titles, inventory, payoffs, transportation, expenses, and other dealership operations. Assist with payroll by entering employee hours, reviewing time records, and supporting payroll processing. Maintain organized physical and electronic dealership files. Assist with invoices, receipts, deposits, cash handling, and other administrative duties. Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, DMV/tag agencies, auctions, transport companies, and dealership staff. Follow up consistently on outstanding titles, payoffs, registrations, transportation, and other pending items. Perform accurate data entry and assist management with daily dealership operations. Required Qualifications Previous automotive dealership experience is required. Hands-on automotive title clerk/title processing experience is required. Experience handling Florida DMV-related work is required. Strong knowledge of vehicle titles, registrations, liens, lien releases, and dealership paperwork is required. Experience processing vehicle payoffs and working with lenders is required. Experience assigning and coordinating vehicle transport loads is required. Strong Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills are required. Strong computer and data-entry skills are required. Ability to accurately review paperwork and identify missing or incorrect documentation. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced dealership environment. Professional communication and phone skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and already understands dealership operations. This is not an entry-level administrative position. The successful candidate must already be comfortable handling title work, Florida DMV paperwork, DealerCenter, Dealertrack, vehicle payoffs, transport assignments, Excel spreadsheets, and dealership administrative responsibilities. We are looking for a dependable, organized, experienced professional who can take ownership of these responsibilities and help keep our dealership's daily operations running smoothly.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
