Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our team at our family-owned dealership. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy staying organized, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, we would love to hear from you. Our Title Clerk plays an important role in ensuring vehicle titles and related documentation are processed accurately, efficiently, and within required deadlines. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working with a high volume of transactions while maintaining attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities Process and license retail title transactions accurately and within state and federal deadlines Review and verify title documentation for retail transactions Verify title documentation for trade-in vehicles Process title and registration paperwork for dealer trades, wholesales, and street purchases Ensure required documentation is complete and accurate for dealer trades, wholesales, and street purchases Identify and help resolve titling issues, errors, and missing documentation Follow up on missing or incomplete title paperwork Allocate licensing fees and process refunds when applicable Maintain accurate and up-to-date titling schedules Maintain accurate and organized title records Ensure title transactions meet company, state, and federal requirements Work closely with Sales, Finance, and dealership management to resolve title issues and keep transactions moving Assist with other title-related administrative duties as needed Qualifications & Requirements Previous dealership billing, accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or title experience preferred Automotive retail titling experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage a high volume of transactions and multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Quick learner who is comfortable adapting to changing processes and priorities Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Why Join Our Team? Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
