Duties Safely operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and rigging equipment to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks Use arborist rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal projects Conduct plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Apply tree care practices including disease management, cabling, bracing, and planting support Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools for mapping and planning tree maintenance routes Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care and general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics Maintain detailed records of work performed, including tree health assessments and work logs Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience with a focus on horticulture, landscaping, or arboriculture preferred Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, tree removal procedures, and tree trimming standards Experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with GIS technology for mapping or planning purposes is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to climbing trees and working at heights Growing experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care is advantageous Basic knowledge of dendrology (tree species identification) and plant pruning care Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high level of safety awareness If you're enthusiastic about working outdoors in a physically active role that combines technical skills with environmental stewardship, we want to hear from you!
