Job Description
Overview This job would be more side project based and perfect for extra money over the weekends. Most likely would have one or two day projects most weeks. Also must have your own inventory of most comonly used sprinkler and pvc parts used. Join our dynamic team as a Sprinkler Technician and become a vital part of creating lush, healthy landscapes through expert irrigation solutions! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency and landscape health. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will help clients achieve vibrant lawns and gardens while supporting sustainable watering practices. This position offers exciting opportunities to work on new irrigation system installation projects, perform system diagnostics, and contribute to landscape maintenance efforts that transform outdoor spaces into thriving environments. Duties Install new irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, controllers, valves, and piping, ensuring precise setup aligned with landscape plans. Conduct routine irrigation system maintenance to optimize performance and prevent issues. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment, including electrical diagnostics and system troubleshooting to identify faults quickly. Perform excavation work using hand tools underground piping or repair sites safely. Manage automated irrigation control systems to adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions and landscape needs. Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into overall landscape maintenance plans. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and addressing client concerns professionally. Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation system installation and repair projects. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics related to automated irrigation control systems. Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and construction techniques. Knowledge of landscaping and lawn care principles to support healthy plant growth.
