Job Description
Description Eliada is seeking motivated and dependable Farm Interns interested in gaining hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, horticulture, and nonprofit work. Interns will work alongside Eliada staff to maintain the farm and greenhouses while learning practical skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment. Previous farming or gardening experience is required. We are looking for people who are comfortable working with plants or in greenhouses.
What You'll Do:
Depending on the season and farm needs, interns may:- Plant, water, weed, maintain, and harvest crops
- Prepare garden beds and assist with soil health
- Help with farm and garden maintenance
- Assist with harvesting produce
- Use and maintain basic hand tools safely
- Support seasonal farm projects and volunteer workdays
- Assist with educational or community activities connected to the farm
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
