About the Role As a Cultivation Technician, you'll care for cannabis plants through every stage of life, from young clones to harvest-ready flower. What You'll Do Care for cannabis plants through every growth stage, including cloning, transplanting, vegetative growth, and flowering Water and feed plants according to the cultivation schedule and nutrient plans Perform canopy maintenance, including deleafing, pruning, trellising, and training plants Help with harvest, including cutting, moving, and hanging plants for drying Monitor plants for pests, disease, nutrient issues, and stress, and report concerns right away Help with integrated pest management (IPM) tasks as directed and once trained Keep plants tagged and tracked with the correct room and batch, and complete plant and task records accurately Clean and sanitize grow rooms, tools, and equipment, and follow hygiene procedures to prevent cross-contamination Handle and dispose of plant waste according to company and compliance procedures Meet productivity and quality goals while following all safety, security, and compliance procedures Pitch in on other cultivation tasks as needed Who We're Looking For A green thumb. Experience in gardening, farming, landscaping, greenhouses, nurseries, or any kind of plant care is a big plus. An eye for detail. You notice the small changes in a plant that signal something is off. Comfortable with repetitive work. You can work efficiently through rows of plants and keep your quality consistent all day. Reliable. You show up on time and have a track record of good attendance and longer tenure at past jobs. Eager to learn. You want to grow your skills and take on more as the team expands. Independent and team-minded. You can work on your own and also communicate well with your team. No cannabis experience required. We'll train you on the company's cultivation, sanitation, and compliance methods. Comfortable with the basics, including following instructions and completing simple paper or electronic records. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Reliable transportation to Sidney, NY Able to work the full 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift consistently Physical Requirements and Work Environment Stand and walk for extended periods, moving between plant rows and working with plants at different heights Frequently reach, grasp, and handle plants and tools with repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, climb step ladders, or reach overhead as needed Safely use pruning shears, scissors, and other hand tools once trained Lift and carry up to 50 pounds when needed; push or pull carts, bins, and trays Work in an indoor cultivation environment with warm, humid conditions, bright grow lights, and cannabis odors Wear required PPE, which may include gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection Ready to Grow Your Career?
