Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Stud Farm Attendant to join our team in Oakwood.

SHIFT HOURS

Typically a 5-day work schedule, 4:00am-12:00pm, with a rotating weekend

STARTING HOURLY RATE

$17.55 with the potential of increasing to $18.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY

Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this entry level position.

Job functions include:

Administering medicines/vitamins as directed from managerAssisting with blood test and vaccinations as neededKeeping building exterior/grounds cleanMaintaining acceptable litter qualityMaintaining supply inventory and keeping accurate records for barn and flock
