Responsibilities Install new irrigation systems across various landscapes, ensuring precise setup and integration with automated control systems Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of existing irrigation equipment to prevent issues and optimize performance Troubleshoot system problems using electrical diagnostics and system troubleshooting techniques to identify faults quickly Repair irrigation system components including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers using hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment such as excavators Perform soil science assessments to determine appropriate watering schedules and system adjustments for different landscape needs Manage irrigation projects from start to finish, coordinating with landscaping teams to ensure seamless installation and ongoing system operation Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance procedures, and addressing client concerns professionally Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation equipment and related hardware Proven experience with new irrigation system installation projects and ongoing maintenance tasks Knowledge of landscaping principles and landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and horticulture fundamentals Ability to perform electrical diagnostics related to automated irrigation control systems Skilled in excavation work using equipment such as excavators for trenching or system installation purposes Familiarity with soil science concepts to optimize watering schedules based on soil conditions Experience with system troubleshooting, repair projects, and system repair projects involving irrigation systems Competence in operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into thriving landscapes!
