We take pride in producing high-quality craft cannabis and are looking for someone with legitimate hands-on cultivation experience who can contribute quickly, work efficiently, follow established processes, and help maintain the standards of our facility. This is a labor-intensive, hands-on cultivation position. The ideal candidate has prior cannabis cultivation experience, understands the importance of consistency and sanitation, works well on a team, and is comfortable taking direction within an established cultivation program. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who has worked directly with plants in a commercial cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or similar production environment. Position Cannabis Cultivation Associate II About the Role You will be part of a productive cultivation team responsible for maintaining a perpetual harvest cycle. This role includes regular plant work, physical labor, room turns, harvest support, cleaning, and facility upkeep. While we value prior experience, it is important that candidates are open to learning and following Sky High Gardens' established cultivation methods. We are looking for someone who can bring useful experience without disrupting the systems already in place. Responsibilities Duties may include, but are not limited to: Watering plants Pruning, defoliation, and plant maintenance Transplanting Cloning and propagation support Filling pots with soil or growing media Moving plants and equipment Assisting with nutrient mixing according to direction Monitoring plants and communicating observations to cultivation leadership Assisting with harvest Assisting with room resets and post-harvest cleanup Cleaning grow rooms and cultivation areas Cleaning tools, trays, floors, tables, and workspaces Assisting with waste destruction Supporting sanitation practices that help protect plant health Assisting cultivation management with additional projects as needed Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Prior hands-on cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, nursery, or plant production experience Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance Strong attention to detail Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the day Ability to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis Comfortable working in warm, humid, and physically active grow-room environments Comfortable with cleaning and sanitation as a regular part of the job Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and established cultivation methods Willingness to receive feedback and adjust work practices as directed Must pass a criminal background check Valid Washington State driver's license, or ability to obtain one Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of commercial cannabis cultivation experience Experience in a perpetual harvest environment Experience with watering, pruning, transplanting, cloning, harvest, room turns, and plant maintenance Familiarity with pest prevention, sanitation, and basic plant health observation Experience working in a team-based production environment Experience working efficiently while maintaining quality standards Work Location One location In-person only Remote work is not available Compensation Compensation will depend on experience. In addition to hourly pay, we offer an incentive program that provides bonuses to staff members based on target cultivation metrics.
