Fertilizer & Pest Control Division Manager
Job Description
A well-established landscape company in the Greater Tampa Bay area is confidentially seeking an experienced Fertilizer & Pest Control Division Manager to lead and expand its plant health care operations. All applications and conversations will be handled confidentially. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the Fertilizer & Pest Control Division. Supervise, train, schedule, and support technicians. Plan service routes and ensure treatments are completed correctly and on schedule. Inspect properties and develop treatment programs for turf, shrubs, trees, and ornamental landscapes. Diagnose issues involving weeds, insects, diseases, irrigation, and nutrient deficiencies. Ensure all products are mixed, handled, and applied according to label instructions and applicable regulations. Monitor service quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and technician performance. Maintain treatment records, chemical logs, licenses, and compliance documentation. Manage chemical inventory, equipment, vehicles, purchasing, and storage. Resolve service concerns and communicate recommendations to clients and internal teams. Support estimating, budgeting, client retention, and division growth. Conduct safety meetings and maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance. Onboard, and develop technicians as the division grows. Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience in landscape fertilization, pest control, turf care, or plant health care. Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. Advanced knowledge of Florida turfgrass, ornamental plants, fertilizers, weeds, insects, and diseases. Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record. Florida Certified Pest Control Operator license, Limited Commercial Fertilizer Applicator license, or other applicable licensing strongly preferred. Strong leadership, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing service routes, chemical inventory, equipment, and regulatory documentation. Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience, certifications, and licensing.
