$115,000 The State Corporation Commission (SCC) is seeking a Manager of Examinations to lead the Securities and Retail Franchising (SRF) Divisions Examination Section which is responsible for the review and registration of securities and franchise applications.
The Manager of Examinations will oversee 4 direct reports and 3 indirect reports in the section. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (some telework and some in-office days each week) as well as training and professional development opportunities. Essential functions and responsibilities of the Manager of Examinations Securities & Retail Franchising position include: Manage, coach, develop, train, and evaluate staff in the Examination Section. Plan, organize, and manage the work of the Examination Section including reviewing staff reports and overseeing and assigning workflow for examiners. Plan, organize, and manage the preparation of examination reports. Compile and summarize results and prepare reports on findings. Design and facilitate presentations to industry and consumer groups on regulatory issues. Analyzes the effectiveness of statutes, rules, and forms. Prepare and recommend statutory and rule amendments. Interpret and determine compliance and exemptions. Review and negotiate orders. Conduct highly complex special studies and projects. Draft rules, orders, and technical documents for the SCC. Prepare examination reports. Perform related work as requested.
