$3,742 per week ($94 per hour; $41 non-taxable per hour). Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Equipment Processor to join a top healthcare facility's Environmental Services team in Burlington, VT. If you're passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and sterile environment and want to be a vital part of patient care behind the scenes, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize reusable medical equipment according to established protocols. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washers. Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report issues to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment inventory. Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Previous experience in environmental services or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed.
