EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ABOUT THE POSITION
LifeProof Hardscapes is looking for a dependable, hardworking, hands-on Paver / Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This is a physical, outdoor position working on residential landscaping and hardscape projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate has experience with pavers, landscaping, construction, or general labor and is comfortable working with a crew to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with installation of pavers for patios, walkways, driveways, pool decks, and other hardscape projects. Assist with demolition, removal, excavation, grading, leveling, and preparation of work areas. Load, unload, move, and organize materials at job sites. Assist with base preparation, stone installation, sand, polymeric sand, and paver installation. Occasional assistance with landscaping, planting, rock installation, artificial turf, cleanups, and other outdoor projects. Use hand tools and construction equipment safely and properly. Assist with measuring, cutting, leveling, compacting, and setting materials. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Help load and unload trucks and trailers. Take care of company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials. Follow all company safety procedures. Be willing to perform different tasks throughout the day depending on the needs of the project. Provide additional support to the crew and foreman whenever needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous two year experience in paver installation, landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or general labor is preferred. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida heat and weather conditions. Able to perform physical labor for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Ability to work well with others as part of a crew. Must have a positive attitude and take pride in the quality of your work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding outdoor position. The employee must be able to: Lift and carry heavy materials. Bend, kneel, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods. Work outdoors in hot and humid weather. Safely use hand tools and construction equipment. Load and unload materials and equipment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who is dependable and willing to work. Someone with experience installing pavers or working in landscaping/hardscaping is required!
SCHEDULE
Full-time, Monday-Friday. Occasional Saturdays. Additional hours may be available depending on project schedules and company needs.
