Job Description
THE CITY OF PORT HURON IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
TEMPORARY LABORER (FORESTRY
DIVISION
) Ability to drag large limbs in a safe manner. Ability to safely feed brush into a wood chipper. Rake and cleanup work zone. Knowledge or previous experience in tree trimming and removals, desirable. General labor duties as assigned.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday; 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week) Six-month maximum assignment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions with prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to lift, carry or drag up to 100 pounds.
Salary Range:
$ 18.00 - $19.00 / hour
