Job Description

at Department of Transportation in Danville, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Operates CDL Class A licensed vehicles. Performs labor relating to maintenance of roadways. During snow and ice conditions, assists in snow and ice control. Performs labor relating to the maintenance of roadside and right-of-way. Performs routine housekeeping duties at headquarters. Removes and disposes of trash, dead animals, and other debris along highways. Maintains on the job records. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of those enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school.
