Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Enhancement Services Leader to spearhead our outdoor beautification and grounds improvement initiatives. In this vital role, you will oversee comprehensive landscape shrub maintenance, landscaping projects, and grounds enhancement efforts across various properties. Your leadership will ensure that all outdoor spaces are meticulously cared for, visually stunning, and aligned with our company standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, manage diverse outdoor projects, and elevate the aesthetic appeal of landscapes through expert supervision and innovative solutions. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of Landscape Enhancement crew members to execute landscape enhancement projects effectively. Oversee shrub care, plant identification, horticulture practices, and tree care to maintain healthy, vibrant outdoor environments. Manage crew and property maintenance scheduling, ensuring timely execution of routine landscape plant care including, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation management. Coordinate construction projects related to landscaping and hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Operate and maintain equipment and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing outdoor work activities in various weather conditions. Collaborate with clients or project managers to plan landscape improvements that meet aesthetic goals and functional needs. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and adherence to project timelines. Foster a positive team environment by providing leadership, mentorship, training in gardening techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, or landscaping with a strong background in outdoor work environments. Supervising experience leading teams in groundskeeping or landscaping projects. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, tree care practices, and irrigation management. Familiarity with hardscape construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls and outdoor structures. Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment such as trimmers, blowers, irrigation tools, and ground-based machinery. Ability to operate a company vehicle safely for project transportation and site visits. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Excellent organizational skills for scheduling tasks across multiple projects while managing resources efficiently. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on Grounds maintenance and landscaping best practices.
