Located near Chandler, it features 2,139 homes, offering amenities like a Golf Course, pools, fitness centers, and various clubs. The Sun Lakes Country Club and HOA #1 Greenskeeper position will assist our community by continuing to maintain the Golf Course in excellent playing condition year round by performing essential duties as a greenskeeper and landscaper. Compensation $18.00

Hourly compensation based upon previous experience and/or certification(s).
Schedule Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM-12:30 PM ( with the potential for additional weekend short shifts and/or overtime during reseeding ). Essential Duties Operates hand and power mover to cut turf on approaches, collars, greens, green surrounds, and tee areas. Maintains sand traps, utilizing Sand Pro, raking trap edges; maintains tee boxes, changes cup location on greens, washing Sand Pro. Fill sand buckets with sand and seed mixture. Change water in ball washers. Clean and haul grass piles and tree branches on the golf course and common areas. Remove garbage from Pro Shop. Operates and maintains common areas; Unit 7, 41, greenbelt, club, Oasis. Clean and maintain restrooms on the golf course, lunchroom, and restroom at the maintenance yard. Operate power equipment to maintain all shrubs, trees, and plants on the golf course and common areas. Plants and trims, trees, shrubs, flowers Other duties as assigned. Strong eye-hand coordination, continually alert and observant, good hearing, mechanically inclined, and ability to concentrate. Education High School Diploma, or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience 1-2 years experience as Greenskeeper/Landscaper or similar position. Knowledge of turf management (preferred). Experience in adult community association (preferred). Certificates and Licenses Requires current and valid Arizona Driver's License. Equipment Utilized Association or personal vehicle; Sand Pro, blower, landscape equipment (hand tools), lawn mower, edger, weed trimmer, shovels and rakes, tee mover, Toro carts.
