As a key member of our crew, you will lead landscaping projects, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure high-quality results that exceed client expectations. Your expertise in grounds care, equipment operation, and landscape management will be vital to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of various outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate landscaping crews to complete projects efficiently and to high standards Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing with precision and attention to detail Maintain and operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools safely and effectively Identify plants, trees, pests, and diseases to ensure proper horticultural practices and plant health management Execute landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, tree trimming, hardscape installation, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons Adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling chemicals like pesticides or herbicides Assist in the installation of irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure efficient watering practices Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with a strong background in landscaping or grounds maintenance Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and diseases relevant to horticulture practices Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety regulations Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members effectively as a crew lead Excellent knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and grounds management into a role that values your skills and dedication.
