Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators to install or repair hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health. Manage irrigation systems to optimize water usage and maintain landscape hydration. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote safety and aesthetics. Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to control pests while protecting plants and the environment. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and heavy machinery such as excavators. Ability to identify various plant species and perform plant care tasks effectively. Knowledge of pesticide management practices in accordance with safety regulations. Experience with lawn care routines including mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and edging. Familiarity with hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
