Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our grounds and landscapes. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
• Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Operate power tools and equipment to perform various groundskeeping tasks
• Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
• Irrigate lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas as needed
• Perform routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness of walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas
• Assist with the construction and installation of new landscape features
• Use hand tools to perform minor repairs or adjustments as required
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including mowing, fertilizing, and weed control
• Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in groundskeeping
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
