Landscape Crew Member A & V Landscaping LLC is a family-owned and growing landscaping company seeking an experienced, dependable Landscape Crew Member to join our team. This is a full-time, primarily year-round position , with the potential for work throughout the entire year. Winter snow plowing and shoveling opportunities may be available depending on weather conditions and business needs. Our regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, beginning at 6:30 a.m., with end times varying based on the day's workload. Some Saturdays may be required during busy periods, and overtime opportunities may be available during high-volume times of the year. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including lawn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment. Perform a variety of landscape maintenance and property beautification services, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, watering, and removing leaves, trash, and other debris. Assist with seasonal cleanups, mulch installation, planting, and other landscaping projects as needed. Load, unload, and properly care for landscaping equipment, tools, and materials. Follow company procedures and all applicable safety practices while working on job sites and operating equipment. Drive a dump truck while safely towing a landscape trailer. Perform additional landscape-related duties as assigned based on seasonal and business needs. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time based on business needs. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of previous landscaping experience required. Experience operating commercial landscaping and lawn maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers. Experience driving a dump truck while towing a landscape trailer. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from work each day. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card), or the ability to obtain one prior to employment. CDL is not required. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow directions, and communicate professionally. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Why Join A & V Landscaping?
