Full-Time Groundskeeper Salary $16.26 Hourly Location Blue Bell Job Type Regular Full-Time Job Number 202600229 Division Administrative Services Department Grounds Department Opening Date 09/11/2026 FLSA Non-Exempt Job Level 10 Reports To Grounds Supervisor Classification Support Staff (Bargaining Unit) Description Benefits Questions

BASIC PURPOSE

To create and maintain the appearance of college grounds and building exteriors.

•This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.

•This position requires both a drug screening and a motor vehicle report as part of the pre-employment process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Winter:

Snow removal, equipment maintenance, litter liners and upkeep; assists other departments as needed.

Spring:

Planting, mulching, edging, mowing, and campus upkeep; assists with maintaining college property, athletic fields, and other departments as needed.

Summer:

Mowing, watering, weeding, plant care, trimming, campus upkeep, and equipment maintenance; assists with maintaining college property, athletic fields, and other departments as needed.

Fall:

Leaf removal, mowing, trimming, planting, campus upkeep and equipment maintenance; assists with maintaining college property (outside of real estate), and athletic fields. During down time, may be assigned to work with other divisions in Facilities Management for all hands-on-deck jobs, or to assist on larger tasks. Performs related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Education/Training/Work Experience:

High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of work related experience required Valid PA Driver's License required

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description Must work outdoors in all types of weather Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate tractors, mowers, dump trucks, and snow removal equipment Must be able to communicate effectively Acquire and maintain PA Pesticide License Category 23 throughout employment

Additional Information Required:

Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions Ability to work within a team oriented setting

Physical Requirements:

Must have a good sense of balance; required to work at various heights. Moderate physical strength is required. Common outdoor allergies should not inhibit job performance.
