Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks, including hardscape installations and grounds maintenance, to ensure the aesthetic appeal and safety of our properties. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality work in a timely manner. Duties Assist with hardscape installations such as building retaining walls and other hard scape features. Perform sod installations to establish healthy, attractive lawns. Maintain outdoor areas through regular groundskeeping activities, including trimming, pruning, and debris removal. Push wheelbarrows loaded with soil, gravel, or other materials, requiring the ability to handle 40-60 pounds comfortably. Assist with general landscaping tasks like planting, mulching, and watering as needed. Ensure safety procedures are followed during all activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications. Requirements Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing heavy loads and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques such as retaining walls and sod laying is advantageous. Must be able to lift and push 40-60 pounds regularly. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards. Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Drivers license preferred but not mandatory. Must be 18 years of age or older.
