Manage landscape construction projects involving hardscape installation, planting beds, and outdoor features. Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth. Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to protect plants from pests while maintaining environmental standards. Maintain grounds by performing snow plowing during winter months and ensuring pathways are clear and safe. Identify plants accurately for proper care and maintenance; troubleshoot irrigation issues; perform routine inspections of landscape systems. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems. Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening, and snow removal. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification, lawn care practices, tree care, and pest management. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, pesticides, and heavy machinery. Construction experience related to hardscape features like patios or walkways is a plus. Familiarity with irrigation system installation and troubleshooting ensures efficient water management. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards maintaining safe work environments.
