Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundskeeper/Handy Man Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills related to maintenance, landscaping, and general repairs. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently to ensure that properties are well-maintained and visually appealing. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of buildings and grounds. Conduct landscape maintenance, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and planting flowers. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Assist with gardening duties, including weeding, mulching, and soil preparation. Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Some carpentry assistance Skills Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscaping practices. Strong knowledge of horticulture principles and gardening methods. Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers. Ability to perform maintenance tasks with attention to detail and quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. A strong work ethic with the ability to manage time efficiently while working independently.
