| Fertilization | Herbicide & Weed Control Sharp Landscape Designs Miami Gardens, FL Job Details Contract $100 - $300 a day 1 hour ago Qualifications Teamwork Irrigator License Equipment troubleshooting Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary Sharp Landscape Designs LLC is expanding its commercial and HOA service capabilities throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and is looking for experienced, properly licensed specialty professionals to collaborate with us on condominium communities, HOAs, and commercial properties. You DO NOT need to be licensed in all three specialties. We are willing to work with: 1. Irrigation Specialists 2. Fertilization Specialists 3.
Herbicide / Weed
-Control Specialists These may be three completely separate professionals or companies . If you are properly licensed and experienced in two or more categories , that will strengthen your candidacy and may create additional recurring work opportunities with Sharp Landscape Designs. We are primarily looking for professionals who already operate in their specialty and are interested in building a long-term relationship as Sharp adds HOA and commercial accounts. ROLE 1 —
IRRIGATION SPECIALIST
We are seeking irrigation professionals who can inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial irrigation systems.
Responsibilities may include:
Irrigation system inspections Diagnosing zones that are not operating correctly Sprinkler head replacement and adjustment Repairing broken heads, risers, piping, and fittings Valve troubleshooting and replacement Controller troubleshooting Identifying coverage deficiencies Locating leaks Repairing damaged irrigation lines System adjustments Documenting deficiencies and recommended repairs Providing estimates for larger irrigation repairs Communicating findings to Sharp Landscape Designs management Irrigation Qualifications Applicant must possess any applicable current contractor license or credential required for the work being performed and the jurisdiction where the property is located .
Examples may include:
Broward County Irrigation Specialty Contractor credentials Miami-Dade Lawn Sprinkler Contractor credentials Other applicable Florida/local irrigation qualifications Licenses must be active, current, and available for verification . Applicants should understand that most properties will be located in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties . ROLE 2 —
FERTILIZATION SPECIALIST
We are seeking qualified professionals to manage fertilizer applications for HOA and commercial turf and landscape areas.
Responsibilities may include:
Scheduled turf fertilization Ornamental and landscape-bed fertilization Assessing nutrient requirements Selecting appropriate fertilizer products Applying fertilizer according to label directions and applicable regulations Maintaining treatment records Advising Sharp on seasonal fertilizer programs Identifying visible turf or plant-health concerns Providing service documentation after applications Required Fertilizer Credentials Applicants performing commercial fertilizer applications must hold a current: Florida FDACS Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certification and the required: Green Industry Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) training/certificate Florida requires certification for people making commercial fertilizer applications to urban turf or ornamental areas. Fertilizer certification alone does not authorize pesticide or herbicide applications . Your certificate must be active and available for verification before work is assigned. ROLE 3 —
HERBICIDE / WEED-CONTROL SPECIALIST
We are separately seeking properly licensed professionals or companies capable of performing commercial weed-control and herbicide treatments.
Potential work includes:
Turf weed control Landscape-bed weed treatment Ornamental weed treatment Sidewalk and curb weed treatment where legally permitted and label-compliant Spot herbicide applications Identification of recurring weed problems Treatment recommendations Product/application documentation Follow-up treatment when necessary Required Herbicide / Pest-Control Credentials Applicants must possess the appropriate current Florida credentials for the applications they perform .
This distinction is important:
A Florida Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance certification may authorize certain pesticide applications to plant beds and ornamental plants , subject to its restrictions, but it does not authorize pesticide/herbicide applications to turf . Professionals performing commercial turf weed-control/pesticide services should have the appropriate Florida Lawn & Ornamental pest-control credentials and operate through the required licensed pest-control business structure . We are specifically looking for professionals who already understand these requirements and can demonstrate that they are legally authorized to perform the work they are offering.
YOU MAY APPLY FOR ONE, TWO, OR ALL THREE CATEGORIES
You do not need to perform all three services.
For example:
If you are only a licensed irrigation contractor, we want to hear from you. If you only perform commercial fertilization, we want to hear from you. If your company specializes only in licensed turf and ornamental weed control, we want to hear from you. If you hold the qualifications to perform two or all three categories , please identify all of your credentials when applying. Professionals with multiple relevant licenses/certifications may receive preference for larger HOA accounts because Sharp can coordinate fewer specialty vendors. General Requirements for All Applicants Candidates should have: Current licenses/certifications applicable to their specialty Physical or digital proof of credentials available immediately Reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties Professional appearance and communication Experience with commercial properties, HOAs, condominiums, or multifamily communities preferred Reliable scheduling and follow-through Ability to work independently Proper tools and equipment for the specialty being performed Valid driver's license Ability to document work performed Ability to communicate property deficiencies and recommended corrective action W-9 availability if working as a subcontractor Current insurance appropriate to the work being performed

We are not looking for applicants who plan to obtain licensing later . If the work you are applying to perform legally requires a license or certification, you must already have it.

About Sharp Landscape Designs Sharp Landscape Designs LLC provides commercial landscape maintenance and exterior property services for HOAs, condominium communities, and managed commercial properties throughout South Florida. As our portfolio grows, we are building a network of qualified specialty professionals in irrigation, fertilization, weed control, tree care, pressure washing, and related property services. Our goal is to give HOA and property-management clients one coordinated exterior property partner , while utilizing qualified specialists for regulated and technical work.
Compensation / Relationship
This is intended primarily as a specialty contractor / subcontractor collaboration opportunity .
Compensation will depend on:
Specialty Property size Scope Service frequency Required materials Qualifications Whether work is recurring or project-based Opportunities may include: Per-service work Repair work Recurring HOA routes Quarterly treatments Annual programs Property-specific projects We are looking for long-term relationships with dependable professionals , not simply someone for one isolated job.
