The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lawn care and landscape maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and equipment. As a Lawn Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing outdoor spaces through meticulous care and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy growth. Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns and gardens.. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to pests or diseases and recommend appropriate solutions. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively. Proficiency in lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilization, and pest control. Experience in landscape maintenance practices such as tree trimming, gardening, and horticulture. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation or repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of hardscape construction methods for outdoor features. Experience with tree care practices ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees on properties. Capability to perform snow plowing duties during winter seasons as needed.
