Duties Mow lawns and trim grass using power tools such as mowers and trimmers to ensure a neat and healthy appearance. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal. Operate hand tools and power equipment like shovels, rakes, and blowers for various landscaping projects. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of turf and plant beds. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and sometimes removal using appropriate tools or machinery when necessary. Support general maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance on all projects. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery or construction equipment such as power tools. Strong background in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including bush trimming, planting, irrigation repairs. Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with power tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of procedures for mechanical work is a plus. Prior experience working with landscaping or construction teams is advantageous; a proactive attitude toward safety is essential. Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
