Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Lawn Care Worker to join our dynamic landscaping team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces through a variety of lawn and landscape maintenance tasks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating vibrant, healthy, and well-manicured lawns and gardens. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in landscaping and horticulture, and be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure even and attractive turf. Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and flowers to promote healthy growth. Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and weed control. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper techniques and safety procedures. Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly desirable. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care practices. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects safely. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaboration on projects. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job site needs. Pay:
$23.11 - $27.83 per hour
