Lawn Technician OSO Turf Care | Part-Time | Belmont / Gaston County, NC About OSO Turf Care OSO Turf Care is a growing, locally owned lawn care company focused on one thing: being the best weed control and fertilization company in the region. As the first person to join the team , you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside the company and play an important role in building its future. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get in early with a growing company , learn the turf care business, and take on more responsibility as we grow. Your Role We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Lawn Technician to help us maintain and improve residential lawns throughout the area. This is currently a part-time position , with approximately 20-30 hours of work per month to start. As OSO Turf Care continues to grow, more routes, customers, and responsibilities will become available. You'll work independently in the field applying professional lawn treatments and helping our customers maintain healthy, weed-free lawns. What You'll Do Properly handle and apply fertilizers, pre-emergents, and herbicides to residential lawns Perform routine lawn treatments according to OSO Turf Care's application programs Identify common weeds, turf problems, and lawn health issues Operate and maintain application equipment Follow all product labels, safety procedures, and applicable regulations Keep equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized Document completed services accurately Communicate professionally with customers when questions arise Take pride in the quality and appearance of every lawn you service What We're Looking For Dependable and responsible Hard-working and self-motivated Comfortable working independently Willing to work outdoors in North Carolina heat and weather Detail-oriented and committed to doing quality work Able to communicate professionally with homeowners Willing to learn about turf, weeds, fertilizers, and lawn care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is not required Compensation OSO Turf Care uses a revenue-sharing compensation structure . The more work you perform, the more you get paid. Rather than simply trading your time for an hourly wage, your compensation will be tied to the work and revenue you help generate.
