As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and appearance of customers lawns through the safe and effective application of lawn care products. Responsibilities Apply granular and liquid lawn care products, including pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, primarily using ride-on equipment Maintain accurate records of all product applications Identify and treat lawn insects and diseases as needed Perform routine maintenance and calibration of application equipment Safely mix fertilizers and control products according to company and label guidelines Follow all safety protocols, including the use of assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Interact professionally and courteously with homeowners, clients, and the public Qualifications Comfortable working with fertilizer and pesticide chemicals Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions Available to work variable hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime Legal authorization to work in the United States Reliable transportation to the branch location Valid driver's license Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and walk long distances Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test At least 1 year of experience in the green industry preferred Pesticide license is a plus; training is available for the right candidate Compensation Competitive, weekly pay Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay Guaranteed year-round work Company-sponsored social events Company-provided safety gear Access to professional equipment and tools Paid certifications and continuing education with bonus potential Training and career development opportunities for motivated employees Offered compensation: $20/yr - $28/yr Experience and License Requirements Green Industry (optional) Pesticide license (optional)
