Job Description
Job Duties:
Adhere to company/OSHA safety regulations. Apply chemicals to clients' turf and planting beds Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. Start engines, move throttles, switches, or levers, or depress pedals to operate machines Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner Clean, maintain and secure equipment as necessary Load and unload truck daily of needed equipment and materials Monitor and check all fluids (not just fuel) in equipment while in operation on job site. Other site activities to ensure a good flow of progress is being made at the work site.Schedule:
We work year round- 12 months a year in all weather conditions This position works 5 days a week Typically no weekends unless major rain out We have staggered start times between 6:45am to 7:30am You will get overtime pay in growing season
Requirements:
Drug free; honest; trustworthy; respectful; demonstrate sound work ethics. Learn and follow safety regulations. Follow instructions and meet set standards. Judge distances and slopes accurately; make decisions based on verifiable standards. Work in dusty or dirty surroundings. Workers must be able to stoop, bend, and crouch; use hands, arms and legs fully. Good vision and hearing (either naturally or with correction). Lift up to 80 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. After 60 days of employment:- Major Medical Health Insurance offered
