Job Description

De La Rosa Landscaping is a locally owned, rapidly growing lawn care and landscaping company serving Chesterfield, Midlothian, and surrounding areas. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Lawn Care & Landscaping Crew Member to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, pays attention to details, and wants more than just a temporary seasonal job. You don't need to know everything when you start. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, shows up consistently, and is willing to learn. The Position As a Crew Member, you will work alongside our crew leaders to complete residential lawn maintenance and landscaping jobs. You will be responsible for helping the crew complete each property safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. The ideal candidate understands that landscaping is physical work and that the little details matter. We want people who take pride in leaving a property looking better than when they arrived. Typical Responsibilities Operate commercial lawn care equipment after training. Operate zero-turn and walk-behind mowers. Weed eat and trim around trees, fences, buildings, beds, and other areas. Edge sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and landscape beds. Blow grass clippings and debris from sidewalks, driveways, patios, and other hard surfaces. Assist with mowing and lawn maintenance routes. Assist with landscape installations and property cleanups. Perform leaf removal and seasonal cleanups. Assist with shrub trimming and basic landscape maintenance. Assist with mulch, planting, bed maintenance, and other landscaping projects. Assist with aeration, seeding, weed control, fertilization, and other lawn services. Load, unload, and properly secure equipment and materials. Keep trucks, trailers, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance. Report equipment problems, property issues, or customer concerns to the crew leader or management. Follow company safety procedures and instructions.
