A Cut Above Property Services is a growing commercial property service company based in Stafford, Virginia, serving Stafford and surrounding counties. We provide professional landscape maintenance and property services to commercial properties throughout the region. Professional, fast-paced team environment Consistent, year-round work Growth and advancement opportunities On-the-job training Safety-focused work environment Commercial properties and professional equipment Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Commercial Landscape Maintenance Technician is to safely and efficiently perform landscape maintenance and enhancement services at assigned commercial properties. Team members are expected to maintain a professional appearance, follow company safety procedures, care for company equipment, and deliver high-quality work at every property.
Responsibilities Daily responsibilities may include:
Commercial mowing String trimming and weed-eating Edging sidewalks, curbs, and landscape beds Blowing sidewalks, parking lots, and other hard surfaces Shrub and ornamental pruning Landscape bed maintenance Pulling and/or spraying weeds Fertilizing as assigned Mulching and landscape enhancement projects Litter and debris removal Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at each property Safely operating commercial landscape equipment Performing basic daily inspections and maintenance of equipment Following instructions from Crew Leaders, Supervisors, and Management Following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Minimum Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of professional landscaping experience preferred, particularly mowing, trimming, edging, or pruning Valid driver's license and good driving record are a plus Must be dependable and report to work on time Must be able to communicate effectively with Crew Leaders and Management Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required Must be able to safely operate commercial landscaping tools and equipment Must be able to wear required PPE Must have reliable transportation to and from the designated reporting location Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding outdoor position.
Applicants must be able to:
Work outdoors in heat, cold, sun, rain, and changing weather conditions Lift, carry, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday Maintain the endurance necessary to perform landscape maintenance duties for an 8-10 hour workday Work additional hours or overtime when necessary, including occasional weekends or holidays during emergencies or special projects What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, safety-conscious, and take pride in producing professional-quality work.
