Hagen Ranch Road, Boynton Beach 35801 Supervises and manages the daily operations and maintenance of a large treatment facility. Develops and maintains operating reports and operational protocols. Works directly with regulatory compliance and plant permitting. Monitors the compliance of treatment facilities for all regulatory agencies and prepares and submits reports. Maintains performance reports for the treatment process. Manages and assists in the preparation of plant budgets for operations and capital improvements. Manages and helps prioritize the Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Monitors the process control and treatment performance; plans and directs daily operations of reclamation and advanced reclamation purification facilities. Oversees and prioritizes plant equipment in coordination with maintenance staff, coordinates with asset management to ensure equipment is available and functioning, and coordinates with maintenance for repairs and equipment upgrades. Serves as the liaison for the treatment facilities and coordinates with Engineers, Contractors, government agencies, and the general public. Reviews construction, project compliance, and operational standards. Serves as the Emergency Response Coordinator. Manages plant data to support data-driven decision-making. Schedules, supervises, and trains staff; writes performance evaluations; recommends new hires, disciplinary actions, promotions, and terminations. Work is performed under the supervision of the Water Reclamation Plants Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of five (5) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a large, automated water treatment plant, which includes three (3) years of experience supervising and directing the work of others.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

Qualified applicants must possess the following at time of application: A valid Florida (FL) Class A Water Treatment Plant Operator's License (Copy of License must be uploaded to online application by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date) .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include: Experience in operating a municipal water membrane treatment plant, Experience using the Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, Experience interpreting data for accurate regulatory reporting, Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maximo, Knowledge of modern laboratory techniques/procedures as related to Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) requirements, and Extensive knowledge using Hach Water Information Management Solution (WIMS) and

WIMS RIO
