Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Green and Blooming Plants Manager to lead our live plant department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vibrant role, you will oversee the buying, care, presentation, and sales of a diverse selection of plants, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the live plant department, including inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Oversee the health and maintenance of all plants, ensuring they are properly watered, fertilized, pruned, and pest-free. Develop engaging displays that highlight seasonal blooms and promote plant sales effectively. Coordinate purchasing of plants and related supplies while negotiating with vendors for quality products at competitive prices. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and plant care schedules using POS systems and bookkeeping tools. Skills Knowledge of indoor plants, including their care requirements, pests, diseases, and seasonal trends. Excellent communication skills to work with staff and assist customers with plant selection and care advice. Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage budgets efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management with experience in merchandising, stock control, shift management, and operational oversight. Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
