Job Description

Overview Join our team Spring of 2027 as a plant nursery worker and immerse yourself in the rewarding world of horticulture and outdoor plant care! In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating, maintaining, and caring for a diverse array of plants, shrubs, and trees. Your enthusiasm for gardening and outdoor work will help create lush landscapes and healthy nursery environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in nursery production. Responsibilities Assist with planting, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning a variety of nursery stock to promote healthy growth. Maintain proper watering schedules to ensure optimal plant health. Use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, and trowels to perform routine gardening tasks with precision. Identify different plant species and monitor for pests or diseases, implementing appropriate care or reporting issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, organize supplies, and assist with landscape projects as needed. Requirements Prior experience in growing plants or working within horticulture, landscaping, or farming environments is highly preferred. Ability to learn to identify various plants accurately and understand basic plant health needs. Strong physical stamina for outdoor work including prolonged standing bending, kneeling, and walking. A proactive attitude with a passion for gardening, and outdoor work. $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
