Lead with Precision. Solve Problems in Real Time. At Turf Masters Brands, we're known for delivering exceptional lawn care service—and that starts in the field. We're hiring a Field Manager in Charlotte, NC, who brings meticulous attention to detail, urgency in action , and the emotional intelligence to solve problems with both the customer and company in mind. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll coach and support up to 10 technicians, manage field operations with a sense of urgency, and serve as the critical link between customers and our service teams.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 10 field technicians —from daily check-ins to on-site job coaching. Prioritize accuracy, safety, and service quality on every job—no shortcuts. Solve problems fast and smart —from broken equipment to frustrated customers. You'll assess issues, think through impacts, and act decisively. Balance customer satisfaction with company standards —you'll find solutions that work for both sides. Respond quickly and professionally to service complaints , ensuring concerns are heard, resolved, and documented for continuous improvement. Conduct field audits and quality checks to ensure services meet Turf Masters' standards for detail and effectiveness. Own field safety —from chemical compliance to equipment checks. You set the tone for operational excellence. Track team certifications, ensure inventory is stocked, and oversee vehicle and equipment readiness. Communicate daily with your Branch manager , providing insights on field performance, technician needs, and customer trends. What You Bring to the
Table:
High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical application. At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred). Exceptional attention to detail —you notice the things others miss. A high sense of urgency —you act quickly, stay focused, and don't let things fall through the cracks. Excellent soft skills —you know how to listen, de-escalate, and earn trust with both customers and your team. Strong problem-solving mindset —you're calm under pressure and skilled at finding practical, win-win solutions. Valid driver's license required. Tech-literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM or scheduling software. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Willingness to become certified in chemical application if not already.
