Support propagation trials, process improvements, and other initiatives designed to improve plant production. Ensure propagation records and production information are accurate, complete, and entered in a timely manner. Maintain ownership of assigned projects and improvement initiatives and follow them through to completion. Provide recommendations to the Nursery Manager based on frontline observations, propagation results, team performance, and operational needs. Must be physically able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs., work on varying terrain, perform work at or above shoulder height for extended periods, and safely operate applicable horticultural equipment. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means that both plants and people perform consistently. Annual propagation targets are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule, with rooting success, liner survival, plant quality, and source-material availability meeting established expectations. Production concerns are identified early, clearly communicated, and followed through before they significantly affect downstream operations. The Propagation Team understands expectations and receives clear direction, consistent coaching, constructive feedback, and appropriate accountability. Employees demonstrate increasing ownership, reliability, safety awareness, and professional development. The Supervisor remains focused, adaptable, and professional during demanding production periods and difficult personnel situations. Changing priorities does not result in lost details, forgotten commitments, or incomplete follow-up. Problems are not simply identified—they are owned, communicated, addressed, and brought to resolution. At Heirloom ™, you'll do more than just help plants thrive—you'll help make our mission a reality. If you're ready to grow with us and be part of a team that values beauty, community, and professional development, we'd love to hear from you.
