Wildlife control technician Cottom's Wildlife Removal, a growing family-owned company that's been serving customers in Ohio since 1986, is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated wildlife control technician to join our team. Never done this type of work before? That's OK! If you're someone who has a passion for outdoor activities, likes to solve problems and enjoys working independently, we're confident that you'll absolutely love this field - and we'll teach you everything you need to know to be successful in your new role. As a wildlife control technician, you'll manage every step of the customer's journey from start to finish, upholding the high standards we've established and are known for in the communities we serve. More specifically, you'll provide permanent solutions to wildlife issues by safely and humanely trapping animals, repairing damage to homes and implementing exclusion methods to prevent future problems. This includes inspecting properties for signs of wildlife activity, determining effective trapping and exclusion methods, sealing entry points, installing barriers and clearly communicating your process to customers. You'll also document your work in our CRM, maintain equipment and ensure compliance with local and state wildlife regulations. And while this isn't a sales position, you'll have the opportunity to cross-sell and upsell services, earning a generous commission on any new revenue you generate. Pretty cool, right? So why choose to work with us instead of another wildlife control company? We're glad you asked! We offer competitive compensation, a supportive, laid-back work environment and great benefits including health insurance and paid time off. If you're looking to be part of a team where you can grow personally and professionally while making a difference in the lives of your coworkers and our customers, we'd love to talk with you about joining the Cottom's family.
