The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various commercial kitchen equipment (hot side) to ensure smooth operations in commercial kitchens. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on hot-side commercial cooking equipment (convection/combi/pizza/toaster ovens, gas/electric ranges, griddles, grills, steam kettles, tilting skillets, dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and processors). Manage service calls from start to finish, ensuring repairs are completed correctly, safely, and in a timely manner before leaving the job site. Apply strong electromechanical principles to troubleshoot complex electrical (low and high voltage), gas, and steam control systems. Communicate clearly and professionally with kitchen staff, facility managers, and dispatch, delivering high-level customer service in fast-paced commercial kitchen environments. Accurately log work orders, parts used, labor hours, and maintenance recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician or in a directly related technical role. Proven experience as a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician or similar role. Must have a complete set of personal hand tools/meters. Must have clean drivers license. Strong mechanical and electromechanical Knowledge (Knowledge of electrical (low and high voltage), gas, and steam systems) to service various commercial kitchen appliances. Strong diagnostic and mechanical troubleshooting ability, with a proven track record of working independently in the field. Self-motivated, dependable, customer-focused, and organized. Comfort and flexibility working in tight, high-temperature, or high-density commercial kitchen areas; ability to lift, bend, and move heavy equipment components.
