The Job Captain will work closely with Project Managers, architects, consultants, and production staff to develop coordinated construction documents and keep projects moving efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the full architectural process, is comfortable working independently, and can take ownership of a project's day-to-day production and coordination. The ideal candidate has strong Revit skills, a solid understanding of construction documents, and the ability to turn design concepts into accurate, buildable drawings. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day production of architectural drawings for multi-family residential projects. Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents using Revit. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, civil, MEP, and other consultants. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with project requirements. Incorporate redlines and design changes into project documents. Assist Project Managers and Project Architects with project coordination and documentation. Help maintain project schedules and communicate production needs or potential issues. Participate in consultant coordination and assist with resolving drawing and construction-related issues. Review and coordinate Revit models and CAD files as needed. Assist with construction administration, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and supporting project teams during construction. Help mentor and provide direction to junior staff and drafters when needed. Maintain organized and coordinated project files throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications 3-7 years of architectural experience , preferably with multi-family residential projects. Strong understanding of architectural construction documents and detailing. Experience coordinating architectural drawings with consultants. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT required.
